Brief

The brief

Introduction: As part of our commitment to crafting functional and aesthetically pleasing work environments, we present a comprehensive design proposal for the office floor of a prominent textile company. Our approach is centered on fostering collaboration, maximizing natural light, and addressing the specific needs of the organization.

Goals:

  • Foster Open Collaboration: Our primary objective is to cultivate a workspace that encourages communication and collaboration among team members. By strategically removing barriers and implementing transparent glass walls, we aim to create an open layout that promotes synergy and creativity.
  • Optimize Natural Light: Recognizing the importance of natural light in enhancing productivity and well-being, we have integrated expansive glass walls and a false ceiling with spotlights. This design element not only illuminates the space but also creates a vibrant and inviting ambiance conducive to focused work and innovation.
  • Cater to Executive Needs: In alignment with the company's hierarchy, we have dedicated a CEO room equipped with a lounge area, a spacious office, and a large table for showcasing textile samples. This exclusive space provides executives with privacy for important meetings while reflecting the company's identity and values.
  • Enhance Meeting Efficiency: We have strategically positioned meeting rooms adjacent to executive offices, the COO office, and the technical office. This strategic placement ensures convenient access for all employees and facilitates seamless collaboration, decision-making, and project management.

Challenges:

  • Privacy and Sun Exposure Management: One of the main challenges encountered was balancing the need for openness with the requirement for privacy and sun protection. To address this, we incorporated a significant number of shutter curtains, offering flexibility for individual office spaces to adjust privacy levels and mitigate sun exposure as needed.
  • Flexibility for Small Meetings: Another challenge was to provide a solution for impromptu or small private meetings without disrupting the overall workspace dynamics. To overcome this obstacle, we devised movable wooden foldable partitions, offering a quick and efficient way to create temporary enclosed spaces while minimizing noise disturbance.

Conclusion: In conclusion, our design proposal for the office floor of the textile company aims to redefine the traditional workspace by promoting collaboration, harnessing natural light, and catering to the diverse needs of employees and executives alike. By addressing key challenges and incorporating innovative solutions, we are confident that our design will not only meet but exceed the expectations of our esteemed client.

Process disclosure

AI use

Selectively applied

Note on process — AI tools were used selectively to refine the visual quality and detail of the renderings shown on this page. The design itself was developed through extensive iterative 2D sketching and 3D modeling; the final output reflects manual design intent at every stage. AI is applied as a finishing aid, not as a starting point.
